Fruit Compote

Try our tasty Fruit Compotes made with Claudia Marie Dessert Mixes

4 medium apples or other fruit, peeled or unpeeled and diced

3 T butter

1 package Claudia Marie Dessert Mix (choose a complimentary flavor to enhance the fruit)

Melt butter in sauce pan or nut roaster over medium heat. Add the diced fruit to the melted butter and stir. Continue stirring and gradually add the Claudia Marie Dessert Mix. Continue mixing until mixture is well blended and fruit is at the preferred consistency.

Serve warm by itself; with streusel and whipped cream or Mousse Marie; spread on bread/toast, french toast, waffles, pancakes, bagel, etc.

Chill and serve by itself; serve in a parfait, trifle, sundae; use as a cake filling, cupcake filling, or tart filling; serve with streusel and whipped cream or Mousse Marie; spread on bread/toast, french toast, waffles, pancakes, etc.

Experiment with different fruits and flavors of Claudia Marie Dessert Mix.

Easy Elegance plating suggestion... scoop into petite martini glasses. Top with a dollop of whipped cream or yogurt. Add a dried fruit slice.
