Creamy Dollops or Quicky Frosting

This is a great recipe using Claudia Marie Dessert Mix for frosting cakes, cupcakes, brownies, cookie bars, and adding dollops for plating desserts.

Use your caking and baking imagination to combine tastes and flavors.

1 packet Claudia Marie Dessert Mix (any flavor)

1/2 cup butter, softened

3 oz cream cheese, softened

1 t vanilla extract

Whip together the butter and cream cheese until smooth and well blended, no lumps. A hand mixer works well. Add vanilla and mix. Add Dessert Mix and beat until fluffy and well blended.

If you like more of a butter taste add more butter 1 tablespoon at a time. If you like more of the tang of cream cheese add more cream cheese 1 ounce at a time.

You can use different flavors of extracts in place of the vanilla to boost or change the flavor profile of the frosting.

Make certain what your icing is cool or at room temperature for piping.
