Creating Great Fillings part 1

Using Claudia Marie Dessert Mix you can create great fillings for your cakes, cupcakes, and other desserts. When using for a cake filling be sure to create a dam of stiff consistency American butter cream between cake layers. Also, for a cake filling you want your added ingredients (ie, chocolate, nuts, fruit) to be small and/or soft enough so when the cake is cut there will be a cleaner slice.
Black Raspberry Swirl - make Mouse Marie with your chosen flavor of Claudia Marie Dessert Mix. Swirl in black raspberry coulis or black raspberry preserves or jam but do not mix to blend or fully incorporate.
Blondies & Chocolate - prepare Chocolate Mousse Marie as per recipe directions. Blend in chopped blondies (use your favorite recipe) and chopped dark chocolate.
Strawberry Banana - prepare Banana Mouse Marie as per recipe directions. Gently fold in chopped strawberries.
Cashew Caramel - prepare Caramel Mousse Marie as per recipe directions. Gently fold in chopped cashews. Add swirls of caramel sauce but do not mix to blend or fully incorporate.
Vanilla & Chocolate - prepare Cheesecake Mousse Marie as per recipe directions. Gently fold in vanilla bean paste and chopped chocolate.
